Hey all!

Jouer Cosmetics Long-Wear Lip Crème Matte – Terra (£15)

On the Jouer website, Terra is described as a “matte neutral deep ochre”. It is also “weightless, Long-Wear Lip Crème Liquid Lipstick offers full coverage color with a soft-touch finish that glides on smoothly and lasts all day”.

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick – Manila (£11)

On Ofra’s website, this is described as a “neutral nude” with “long lasting color”. It also claims to have “minimal transfer while maintaining a comfortable wear”. It is also infused with Vitamin A and anti-oxidants.

Collection Velvet Kiss Lip Cream – Caramel (£2.99)

On the Collection website, there is no description as to what colour it is supposed to be but it is the only nude in the range. It is supposed to be a “moisturising liquid lip cream” that “leaves a matte velvet finish on the lips without drying them”.

Colour:

Okay, okay so all three are not an exact match. Manila looks much lighter on the lips than it does on the arm swatch. IRL the colours aren’t that far off each other. They are all in the rosy nude family (at least on me anyway). From the photo, Terra and Caramel looks very similar to each other.

Animal Testing:

All three claim to be cruelty free. However, Collection doesn’t feature the PETA logo or the leaping bunny logo on the website. Jouer is the only one to claim to also be gluten free, paraben free and vegan friendly.

Formula:

They all feel pretty light weight on the lips. Although they are matte lipsticks, they are all described as having a ‘comfortable’ feeling. So they are a matte formula and should last a while on the lips but they are not ultra drying. They all also have that mousse-like texture which helps it feel more comfortable. Ofra has a very sticky consistency as it dries and that’s why it’s sticking to the lower lip (see photo above).

Jouer is a lot more opaque than the other two. One dip covered the entire bottom lip nicely whereas the other two needed to be layered in order for my lip to not be seen.

Collection is the most comfortable one of them all. It is basically a cheaper version of the NYX soft matte lip cream and for us, that’s the best lipstick out there in terms of comfort.

That’s all for now peeps! What do you think? Which one do you prefer?

Also if you want us to do a wear test on any of these please let us know!

We hope you like this post and we will see you next time!

peace&love, SJ &Ally xo
