Red Cut Crease – Festive Makeup Pt 2 || Looks

Hey all!

Only a few more days left til Christmas! It’s coming by so fast – is anyone even ready yet?!

We thought we would share with you a glam cut crease look using only a few products. We finished the look off with some lashes (which we don’t do often) and silver glitter liner – perfect for a glam Christmas look! If you wanna be a little extra this Christmas Day, this is the look for you!

Also please excuse the brows – there’s not excuse, I don’t know what happened there!

Products Used:

Makeup Revolution Brow Pomade in Graphite – used this to shape the brows (as much as we could)
Freedom Pro Eye Primer – our trusted eye primer! We used it to clean up slightly underneath the brows but in hindsight, we should have used concealer to clean it up. Something a bit more opaque would’ve been better.

Makeup Revolution Acid Brights Palette – We set the primer using the white shade and then used the light pink on the crease for a base colour.

MUA Silent Disco Palette – We took the bright red shade and put that along the crease too. And we kept adding layers and layer of it until we got the desired red colour.

If ever we got a bit heavy on the red, we went back in with the previous pink colour just to lighten the edges up and create a blended look.

We cut the crease using Natural Collections Liquid Concealer. We did it just slightly above the natural crease to make the eye look a bit bigger too. Using that same white from the Makeup Revolution palette, we set the concealer.

Too Faced Melted Matte in Lady Balls (as Liner) – This liquid lipstick is such a bright, true red that it just fit perfectly with this look. We used a liner brush to create a winged liner.

Collection Glam Crystals in Glitz 1 – Added a line of this silver glitter along the cut crease. We like the silver sparkles against the bright red – it’s so pretty! The glitter liner also makes the cut crease look sharper. But if you don’t fancy doing the liner, you can always leave it out and just intensify the crease with more of the red shadow.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash – Our Fave! A little coat of this on the top and bottom lash line.

To helpt he eyes look even bigger, we added some white kohl pencil on the waterline. You can use any but we used Barry M Kohl Pencil.

Eylure Party Perfect Lashes (exclusive to New Look) – To finish the look, we put these lashes on. We never usually use lashes as they can be quite heavy and we just aren’t used to them. But these particular ones are super fluttery and pretty but also lightweight. They don’t weight down the eyes much but still looks thick and voluminous.
